While the Marvel Studios brand has helped buoy a number of underperforming films in the past, the uncanny success of 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy was also assisted by charming characters, impressive visuals, and a soundtrack woven masterfully throughout the narrative. Even then, its global haul of over $700 million was an impressive feat and one that guaranteed James Gunn would continue making Marvel movies for years to come....

Sixteen seasons in and Grey’s Anatomy is still running strong. Over the years characters have come and gone. Derek Shepherd, also known as “McDreamy,” was the Head of Neurosurgery at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. After eleven seasons, Derek’s time on the show came to an end and his character passed away, leaving behind his wife Meredith Grey and their children. Derek was considered one of the best surgeons. Gunsmoke: One Man’s Justice brought down the curtain on an iconic western series. Gunsmoke started as a popular radio series before making the move to TV, where James Arness - who played the titular Thing in 1951’s The Thing From Another World - played main character Marshall Dillion. Gunsmoke season 1 debuted on CBS in 1955 and would run for an incredible 20 seasons and 635 episodes, coming to an end in 1975....

Google’s next phone will be a stark departure in terms of specs, design, and cameras. We also learned today that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will not include a USB-C charger in the box. For the last few years, Google has shipped an 18W USB-C Power Adapter with every Pixel phone. The original Pixel in 2016 notably included bricks that partially color-matched with the device, but the company quickly switched to an entirely stark white exterior....

When Avengers: Infinity War and its currently untitled sequel were announced, speculation began immediately as to the size of the films’ casts. Lucasfilm’s second Star Wars spinoff film, a prequel centering around young Han Solo, is now in principal photography ahead of its scheduled May 2018 premiere. Obviously, the project required the studio to recast some classic franchise characters with younger actors, and the duo of Alden Ehrenreich and Donald Glover are locked in to play scoundrels Han and Lando Calrissian. But they aren’t the only newcomers injecting new life into familiar faces of a galaxy far, far away....

Nexus 4 Phone First in the line-up is the Nexus 4 Android smartphone. This handset comes from collaboration with the hardware manufacturer LG, despite the fact that Google could have easily manufactured it through it’s self-owned manufacturer Motorola. With a 4.7 inch display the Nexus 4 comes in at roughly the same size as Samsung’s latest Galaxy SIII phone, but is still dwarfed by the the larger Samsung Note II phablet....

This is the end for Gotham, and the first trailer for season 5 isn’t being shy about touting it as an explosive finale for the series. A shortened fifth season will see the Batman prequel series bring as many of its storylines as possible to their logical (well, knowing this series, probably not logical) endpoints. Chief among them, of course, is the question of whether or not David Mazouz’s Bruce Wayne will suit up to finally become the Batman, the role he’s been preparing for since the series launched in 2014....

After months of teases, Ra’s al Ghul finally arrives in a new featurette from Gotham. For almost three seasons now, Gotham has introduced a variety of villains from DC Comics. While the updated takes on the villains haven’t always been met positively by fans and critics, the show has nevertheless created a universe that’s both gritty and campy in its interpretation of source material. The show hasn’t merely stuck to obscure rogues, either, with the likes of the Riddler and Penguin featuring on the series since the beginning....
