Gustin has been playing Barry Allen/The Flash since 2013, when he first appeared as the character in a season 2 episode of The CW series Arrow. While that setup might have allowed for a more stripped-down thriller that followed young cop Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as he struggled to keep the city under control, Gotham quickly embraced its campy, over the top nature instead....
It’s near-impossible to surprise your audience when you’re re-imagining a Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Thanks to Disney, a good chunk of the duo’s collected folk stories have been heavily sanitized and seared into the public’s consciousness over the past century. Production on Guillermo del Toro’s Fantastic Voyage has been delayed, in order to allow the filmmaker enough time to complete his next theatrical release, The Shape of Water. The Pan’s Labyrinth and Pacific Rim director has been attached to helm Fantastic Voyage - a remake of the 1966 sci-fi film of the same name - since early 2016, after talks with such prospective directors as Paul Greengrass and Shawn Levy ultimately fell by the wayside....
The SMS messages urge victims to download Android applications related to official Iranian services, such as the Iranian Electronic Judicial Services. The first messages typically claim that a complaint has been filed against the victim and that an application needs to be downloaded in order to respond. Once downloaded, the applications allow hackers to access the victim’s personal messages. Victims are asked to enter credit card information in order to cover a service fee, giving attackers access to card information that can then be used....
The changes are apparently aimed at allowing users to have greater control over their privacy, without necessarily inducing the same level of disruption for advertisers that Apple’s own policy changes have created. Anthony Chavez, a vice president within Google’s Android division told The New York Times that it was too early in the planning phases for the change in policy to gauge what exact impact it might have on ad revenues....
Earlier today, Mac video professionals began reporting that their computers were crashing, and many attributed the problem to Avid’s Media Composer editor. Apple this week officially held its highly-anticipated “Unleashed” event to unveil new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. The event marked Apple’s second in as many months, but according to a new report, it’s unlikely that we’ll see any more major product announcements from Apple this year… Last year, Apple held three separate fall events: one in September focused on the Apple Watch and iPad, one in October focused on iPhone 12 and HomePod, and one in October to kick off the transition to Apple Silicon with a new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini....
Avanan’s Jeremy Fuchs said that in December, the company saw cyberattackers using the comment feature in Google Docs and Google Slides to leverage attacks against Outlook users. “In this attack, hackers are adding a comment to a Google Doc. The comment mentions the target with an @. By doing so, an email is automatically sent to that person’s inbox. In that email, which comes from Google, the full comment, including the bad links and text, is included....
