Before heading to E3 in less than a week, Andy “Bravo” Dudynsky (@Brav on Twitter), a community manager for 343 Industries, decided to give the low-down on a few tidbits of news concerning the Halo 5 competitive scene for the HCS Halo Invitational. That is the high-tier competitive play, for all the non-MLG savvy out there. The first piece of data, for those who may have missed the news, was the 3-0 win of the Online Warriors team versus the Xmen in Europe, and the Team EnVyUs over Allegiance.

If that isn’t enough information for you, then here are some simple charts showing the basic statistics for the competitive teams (collected as of June 3rd, 2016).

For those whose favorite team may not be doing quite as well as you had hoped, take comfort in the fact that you may be graced with some skin-packs courtesy of Counter Logic Gaming, Evil Geniuses, and OpTic Gaming. The skins will be available for the Magnum and Assault Rifle weapons, as well as an emblem. Look for these skins around the same time of the Warzone Firefight release.

Also, if you aren’t getting quite enough of the HCS in your life, then fret not and check in to the “HCS Listen In” podcast that will be debuting within a week or so. The podcast will help you to get caught up on key match-ups, player history, opinions, and even more from experts and personalities such as Strongside, Tashi, and Dersky, as well as special guests including Pro League players. The first episode will air on June 8th, and the team is open to questions. Just tweet @HCS with the hashtag #HCSListenIn.
