In honor of her 50th birthday on Tuesday, the Goop organizer presented wearing gold body paint — and nothing else — to celebrate her milestone year.

She shared with Goop devotees and her fans that the photograph shoot was a little portion of tomfoolery and a beautiful way to celebrate turning 50.

“All I know is that they’re painting me gold and that I have to be naked,” Paltrow shared.

“I feel so great turning 50, and this is about expressing that feeling of energy and optimism that I’m experiencing. It’s more about the female gaze and simply a feeling of tomfoolery.”

However it seems to be Paltrow basically coated herself in gold paint before posing, she actually involved several of her favorite Goop items to prepare for the fun photographs. She prepared her skin and hair with her favorite items, including GOOPGENES All-in-One-Nourishing Face Cream, GOOPGENES Nourishing Repair Body Spread, GOOPGENES Clean Nourishing Lip Balm and G.Tox Himalayan Salt Scalp Scour Shampoo.

Paltrow may simply be turning 50 this week, yet she started celebrating early — and reflecting on her life so far.

In a post published to the Goop blog, Paltrow composed that she’d “hurt individuals” and apologized for any past actions.

Noting that is she moving into “another region” of her life, Paltrow said doing that “requires owning my mistakes and finds me prostrate, praying I have learned from them all.”

“Accomplishments (or things I did), however known and quantifiable, feel part of this linear past, less relevant.

My blunders, which live in the shadows, elusive and dark, are harder to define,” she added. “Not because I don’t understand what they are, but since we keep them covered up, out of the logbooks.”

Continuing her candid blog entry, Paltrow then noticed that the “transition into the pleasantness requires these be brought into the mind to adjudicate (do amends should be made to anyone or to myself?), then into the heart, to be forgiven.”

“I have harmed individuals, never intentionally, however I have done so notwithstanding. I have let individuals somewhere near not being who they required me to be. I have betrayed myself to maintain order,” she composed. “I have crossed lines, the considerations of which at times tear me from sleep and suspend me into the emptiness of shame for a long, dark evening.”

Paltrow, who is mother to daughter Apple, 18, and son Moses, 16, with ex Chris Martin, also composed that she “doesn’t know I have faith in going back on schedule to address mistakes,” adding, “All of those sleepless hours that came from one of these transgressions against myself or others has prompted something.”

Paltrow then apologized to “anyone that had a negative involvement in me,” writing, “I might want to acknowledge myself completely.

I’m flawed, I can close down and go to ice, I have no patience, I swear at other drivers, I don’t close my wardrobe entryways, I lie when I don’t want to make feel horrible.”

Paltrow also shared a black-and-white photograph of herself on Instagram, guiding her fans to Goop’s site to read her “musings on a milestone.”

In the photograph, she’s carefree and jumping around in the grass in a bikini with a tremendous grin on her face.

She shared an additional brief look at her bikini look on Goop’s site, this time in full technicolor.

Back in October 2021, Paltrow chatted with Individuals about aging and how she actually battles with her self-perception.

“Unfortunately, we’re always looking at ourselves with a critical eye,” the Goop organizer explained at the time.

“I couldn’t want anything more than to reach a point where I don’t do that anymore.”

She continued, “I want to appear for myself in a really loving way, because it’s all going south from here! There’s nothing we can do about it.”
